TRIAL COUNSEL

Casey focuses her practice on civil litigation. She has brought more than a dozen multi-day jury trials to verdict and two dozen more trials to the Court.  She assists lawyers or her clients with trial preparations or will step in as trial counsel an argue your case to the judge or jury.

MECHANICS LIENS

Navigating Colorado’s mechanic lien laws often requires experienced counsel. Casey represents both construction professionals seeking payment and property owner protecting title against lien claimants.

APPELLATE BRIEFS

Casey has authored more than two dozen appellate briefs in Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.  She has written as Amicus Curiae for state and national special interest groups.

ORAL ARGUMENT

In addition to her trial experience, Casey has argued several cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals.

INSURANCE DISPUTES

Casey has served as defense counsel for a number of national insurance carriers over the past decade.  She now advises clients regarding coverage issues and represents individuals and businesses who have been wrongfully denied insurance coverage.

UNBUNDLED LEGAL SERVICES

Also known as limited scope representation, allows an attorney and client agree to limit the scope of the attorney’s involvement in a lawsuit, leaving the responsibility for some aspects of the case to the client.  This gives the client more control, and reduces attorney fees.  Casey can draft pleadings, help you navigate procedural rules and deadlines, or provide coaching so you can present your case to the Court.
